Stall Holders Terms & Conditions

The Organisers reserve the right to limit the number and type of stallholders, or to refuse the acceptance of a stall that they deem unsuitable for this event, in which case a refund will be offered.  All accepted stallholders will be advised of their stall number prior to the market.  We endeavor to give the same stall positions to vendors of previous markets. Please take note of the access to your stall.

Supply own equipment

All equipment supplied by stallholders must be in good order and used in accordance with manufacturers guidelines.

Gazebos, tents, shade structures and marquees must be in good order & be put up by competent persons. The structures must not be attached or tied to trees or park fixtures and the position of pegs and any guide ropes must not cause a trip or knock hazard. Protruding pegs must be covered with a protective layer.

Tables, trestles, chairs must be in good order.

Umbrellas may be used only if properly pegged or weighted down. Under high wind conditions the umbrellas are to be dismantled.

Protection barricades must be placed around hot barbecues or spits to prevent public accessing a hot surface.

Gas Cylinders

Cylinders to be secured in a well ventilated area restricted from public areas and stored in accordance of AS 4551-2000. All gas bottles are to be stored in a vertical position whether in use or not.

Fire Extinguishers

All stallholders with gas bottles are to have a 2.5B/powder fire extinguisher on site with them at all times and a fire blanket. NO EXTINGUISHER NO SITE

Powered Sites

If you have a powered site you are to provide your own 22m, 240v power leads.

All electrical equipment must conform to the electrical standards including AS 3000.

Extension leads must be fixed overhead away from pedestrian and vehicular traffic. All electrical equipment including extension leads to be tagged with a current test/tag issued within the last six months.

Unpowered sites

No generators unless with permission of the market organisers.

Environmental Protection

Stallholders must give protection of the environment the highest priority in all activities at the site.  Any liquids, chemicals, cooking fats or oils, general waste and contaminated water must be removed from the site by the stallholder.

Emergency Evacuation Procedures.

The safeguarding of all persons, visitors and general public is of primary importance to the organisers. You will receive a copy of the current Emergency Procedures on your arrival. You and your personnel are required to familiarise yourselves with them. Please note: In case of evacuation, the need to remain calm is of the utmost importance. Cancellation Policy

The Rhyll Twilight Markets will operate under most weather conditions however if extreme weather is predicted, a cancellation may occur. In this case, the organisers will offer stallholders a substitute market date which is not negotiable.  No cancellation of Stallholders sites will be refunded under any circumstances.

Insurance

It is mandatory for the stallholder to have in place Public & Products & Liability insurance of no less than $5,000,000 for any one occurrence and in aggregate and thereof.

Security

You should be aware that your property remains your responsibility while it is on site. The organisers take no responsibility for the damage or theft of your property, tools, goods or equipment.
